2019-10-11: Improved real time stability of Lipase DC FS
The real time stability for DiaSys Lipase DC FS is now given for 18 months. The prolonged stability could be achieved due to an optimized production process. In addition, the ongoing project for the IVD regulation 2022 showed that a slight adaption of the application for Lipase DC FS improved the performance of the assay. Therefore, there was a slight change in all available applications for Lipase DC FS. All product related documents for Lipase DC FS on the DiaSys website were exchanged accordingly. Lipase is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of triglycerides to produce mono- and diglyceride and long chain fatty acids. The enzyme and its cofactor colipase are produced in the pancreas and elevated lipase values can be observed in pancreatitis and other pancreatic disorders.
