After the opening the audience took the chance to visit the exhibition to see the presentations of the exhibitors, meet and greet with friends, colleagues and business partners. In total a very impressive event.

On April 19th DiaSys conducted an one hour workshop entitled “Evidence of results”. Between 40 and 50 attendees participated in this workshop.

With an introduction presentation of BioMajesty®JCA-BM6010/C Ralph Jordan, Product Management Systems at DiaSys started the session. His focus was on high quality of DiaSys System business and reliability of results when using BioMajesty in daily routine. His second topic was about Laboratory Automation and the question why laboratories are going for automation solutions. The key drivers, he concluded, are optimization of processes in daily routine of IVD laboratories, trend for consolidation, reduction of manual work as well as errors and shortening the turn around time (TAT).

In the talks of Peter Aradi (Area Business Director at DiaSys) first the necessity of the use of purified water in laboratories with DiaSys analyzers in use was highlighted in order to secure patient results and guarantee proper function of the devices. The new generation of DiaSys Osmose systems was presented. In his second part he underlined that in favor of patients health the use of Enzymatic PAP instead of Colorimetric PAP should be preferred. Also the advantages of the measurement of Cystatin C were highlighted. Peter Aradi named the parameter as “Troponin of the Kidney”.

The well attended workshop was rounded by discussions between interested audience and both presenters.
