Wedding Reception at Hoora Pharma
I had the privilege to be invited to the Mr. Saad Chohan Walima Reception, held on 3rd February 2019 in Karachi, Pakistan, right before the MEDLAB Exhibition in UAE - Dubai.
Walima is a marriage banquet and the second of two traditional parts of an Islamic wedding. The walima is performed after the nikah marriage ceremony. The word means to gather or assemble.
Mr. Saad is the Head of Sales at Hoora Pharma, our long term and valued partner in Pakistan. Our business partnership dates back more than 10 years with continuous business development. HOORA Pharma is positioning the DiaSys brand into the medium segment of private and governmental laboratory networks in the country. We are very successful with our respons® system placements, which are still growing.
Our main message is the disease based diagnosis, focusing on diabetes (HbA1c, β-Hydroxybutyrate) as well as reliable and early diagnosis of kidney damage (Creatinine PAP, Cystatin C), as they are leading and serious health issues in the country.
Back to the event: It took place in the Karachi Golf Club Convention Center and the venue exactly represented its meaning: 800 guests, actually business partners and friends celebrated the happiness of Mr. Saad, delighted by local delicacy on the dinner menu. It was a memorable night being together with the young couple, surrounded by business partners. All were treated as family members and I’m sure we all felt the strong relationship.
