Workshop on the Benefits of a Closed System Concept in Ramallah

The DiaSys workshop was integrated into the Scientific Program of the LabWeek, organized by our valued partner, BioLine - MMC Company. The workshop took place in Ramallah, Palestine on the 23rd of April. The main aim was to define the benefits of a closed system concept for patients, laboratories and managements. During the workshop we intensively discussed issues as quality, efficiency, productivity and cost optimization. As a conclusion we agreed on a statement about the major benefits, that the closed system should provide full traceability, improved result security and ensured patient safety.

Moreover a closed system reduces human errors, avoids sample (biggest source of pre-analytical errors) and reagent (major source of errors in intra-analytical phase) mishandling due to the use of barcodes.

Our statement was, that the DiaSys closed system develops the evidence of result by economic operation, which makes the investment rational and absolutely controllable for the end user.

On the second day of our stay, we combined the workshop with end user visits in different locations in the country, including Jerusalem and Jericho, where we always experienced a warm welcome and great hospitality from our end customers, running our system either in a clinical center or in a hospital laboratory. We, at DiaSys are very proud to be part of this success and serving the patients at high level.
