DiaSys G6PDH is an enzymatic test to determine glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PDH) in whole blood. G6PDH deficiency is one of the most common enzyme deficiencies, which leads to an increased risk of hemolytic anemia in states of oxidative stress, infections and after ingestion of certain drugs or fava beans.
