Homocysteine FS is an enzymatic test to determine homocysteine in serum and plasma. The amino-acid homocysteine represents an independent risk factor for cardiovascular diseases (CVD). Increased concentrations are further associated with a wide range of disorders like birth defects or psychiatric disorders.
