Cystatin C FS is a high performance particle enhanced immunoturbidimetric test to determine cystatin C in serum and plasma. Cystatin C is a reliable and sensitive marker to detect kidney damage at an early stage. Unlike creatinine, cystatin C determination is independent of the patient profile (e.g. age, gender).
