New reagents and system integration

The R&D department in Holzheim is focused on the development of new diagnostic photometric tests and on the system integration of DiaSys analytical instruments.

The development of new diagnostic tests includes measurement and analysis of enzyme kinetics and substrate concentrations as well as stabilization and modulation of enzyme reactivities. The covalent coupling of antibodies and the description of their reactivity is also one of the main activities. Another crucial part in assay development is the selection and characterization of additives and the selection and development of appropriate calibrators and controls. Final part of assay development is the measurement of patient samples on different analyzers and validation of test applications on different systems.

The research department is responsible for the system integration which is carried out in close collaboration with product management and device development of the DiaSys group. Integration work includes software testing, and characterization and optimization of subsystems such as photometers, liquid transfer and temperature control.

We constantly expand our research activities and are looking for talents interested to work for an internationally established medical technology company with flat hierarchies and excellent development opportunities. Visit our career site to find out more.
