DiaSys Diagnostic Systems present in Kharkiv, Ukraine

The first Society for Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics in Ukraine was established within the existing Medical Society in 1861 in Kharkiv on the initiative of Professor Wilhelm F. Grube. Therefore, organizing events for the Kharkiv Society for Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics has a long history and is most important for this direction in Eastern Ukraine. Consequently, the Day of Laboratory Diagnostics Specialists and the Conference of the Kharkiv Society for Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics took place in Kharkiv in May 2019.

Approximately 200 heads of clinical and diagnostic laboratories, laboratory physicians and laboratory specialists attended this event. DiaSys Diagnostic Systems GmbH and their local distributor, the Medical Company Empirica LLC, were invited to this meeting.

DiaSys’ Area Business Director Mr. Peter Aradi gave a lecture about DiaSys history, products and their system concept in laboratory diagnostics. The following speech on the importance of lactate in laboratory diagnostics and on SensoStar GLH six, made by Mr. Anrij Hryziv, Head of Empirica Sales Dept, attracted special attention among the audience.

At the end of the day, an additional opportunity for discussions about DiaSys products was offered. After the event, the representatives of DiaSys Diagnostic Systems paid a visit to the largest laboratory in Kharkiv regional hospital. The bench top random access clinical chemistry analyzer respons®920 as well as InnovaStar® for Point of Care testing have been productively in use for several years in this site.
