Urea FS
1 3101
Urea FS is an enzymatic test to determine urea in serum, plasma and urine. Elevated urea levels are generally associated with renal diseases when the glomerular filtration rate is markedly reduced. Increased blood-urea concentrations may be caused due to decreased renal perfusion, cortisol treatment, increased protein catabolism or dehydration.
